This is a goofy little prop that I built out of left over styrofoam from my tombstones. I decided to use the classic toe-pincher style due to it's simplicity of construction. It's amazing how well this came together with a hot glue gun and utility knife!


I cut 2 pieces (top and bottom) to exactly the same size, then cut 2 of each of the side wall pieces. They glued very easily together, then were painted with black spray paint. Be careful as to the type of spray paint that


you use, as some contain solvents that will eat right through the sytrofoam. (See my Stone Wall Project). I lined the inside of the casket with red satin, added a plastic skeleton, and used it as a popcorn bowl at my Halloween party. It was a hit with most of the guests!
